You remember Mr Rogers from growing up? You may remember him from his televison show “Mr. Rogers’ Neighborhood”. What you may not have known is the challenge he faced being able to receive funding to keep his show and others from PBS on the air. Here is the moment he did that by speaking to the United States Senate Subcommittee on Communications with $20 Million in funding on the line and in response to proposed PBS budget cuts by then-president Richard Nixon…
